How to check archived Facebook messages

If you archived your Facebook messages and now want to view them but you don’t know how, follow the steps below to view your archived messages.

How to view archived messages on a computer

• Go to Facebook.com
• open Messages. It’s at the top of Facebook on the same menu bar as your profile name.
• Click See All in Messenger at the bottom of the message window.
• Open the Settings, help and more button on the top left of the page (the gear icon).
• Select Archived Threads.

How to view archived messages on a mobile

• Open the Facebook Messenger app
• Tap Home.
• Press and hold on a conversation. Doing so will reveal a pop-up menu.
• Tap Archive. The conversation will be moved to the “Archived” folder.
• Tap the blue speech bubble icon
• Type in the recipient of your archived conversation.
• Tap on the recipient’s name. You will now see the archived messages from the conversation appear in the chat window.
